Christene has a diversified employment background.
During her career, she has held a variety of positions
in the Government of Canada, banks, a
newspaper, a computer company, and citizen advocacy.
She has extensive experience in the delivery of services
to national and international clients. Strongly
committed to providing top-quality services, she has
over 15-years experience in managing projects related to
the development, design and delivery of services to the
public. Christene is positive, hard working and self
motivated. She has superior communication skills and
exceptional interpersonal, organizational, and
negotiation skills.
Christene is known personally and professionally for her
integrity, honesty and straightforward, principled
approach when interacting with clients, employees, peers
and employers. In 2006, she was selected as a finalist
in the leadership category for one of Service Canada’s
most prestigious awards, the Service Canada Award Of
Excellence.
Christene is an ardent believer in the benefits of
contributing to the community and helping others. She
has volunteered with a number of organizations including
the United Way, the Hobe Sound Chamber of Commerce,
Citizen Advocacy, seniors groups, Habitat for Humanity,
In2Books Literacy Program, Seawind Elementary School, and TESL (Teaching
English as a Second Language).

Tom
Gabor has been a Professor of Criminology and Criminal
Justice for 26 years. He received his doctorate at Ohio
State University in 1983. He is an author of 7 books
and over 100 articles on crime and security issues. He
has been an Associate Editor of the Canadian Journal of
Criminology and Criminal Justice since 1990. Tom has
won or been nominated for a number of teaching and
research awards, including a prestigious prize from the
American Society of Criminology for his work on the
prevention of residential burglary. He has been
designated by the Department of Homeland Security as a
person of “Extraordinary Ability”.
Tom has been a consultant and expert witness on crime
and security matters over the last 20 years, serving
clients ranging from the United Nations to a number of
governments and agencies. He has been described as the
“consummate professional” by an official with the
Canadian Department of Justice.
Tom is a member of ASIS International (American Society
of Industrial Security), Palm Beach Chapter. TopNotch

salute to local law enforcement.
